I could have caught a 90 minute direct train from Glasgow to Dundee but where's the challenge in that. I catch 5 trains, including a change at Edinburgh Waverley. The line in Fife skirts the sea and offers fine views. See the UNESCO World Heritage Forth Bridge and very long Tay Bridge as well.
