1960 John Deere 430 Touch-O-Matic Disassembly

Описание к видео 1960 John Deere 430 Touch-O-Matic Disassembly

This video covers the disassembly of the Hydraulic Unit removed from my John Deere 430 Two Cylinder Tractor.

This is the component on the tractor that raises/lowers the three point hitch. A piston utilizing hydraulic power is responsible for raising/lowering the rockshaft, the position of the piston is determined by placement of a control arm located on the operator's right side. The Touch-o-matic unit mounts on the back of the tractor below the seat.

Specifically this is from a Standard model; the Tricycle, Row Crop Utility, Utility, Hi-Crop, and Special models will have similarities but definite differences.

Reassembly will be covered in a future video.

Lastly, I have no training or credentials that justify me walking anyone thru this project I do have years of experience working on/restoring my own tractors; I also have a doctorate degree that justifies the "Doc" in "TractorDoc." Listen to what I say and do what I do at your own risk.
