I was contacted by the marketing manager at LetPot to do a product review of their 48 watt LED grow light. The product is advertised as a full spectrum indoor plant grow light. I currently use a grow light for my vegetable and flower seedlings, but I wanted to give this one a try because it has some appealing features. First, there’s an app and remote control for customizing lighting schedules. Second, there are adjustable light levels. And third, the stand is highly adjustable. In this video, I will unbox the product to show the packaging. Then, I’ll assemble the grow light step by step to show whether the instructions are clear.

The assembly was easy with clear instructions and good illustrations. I really like how adjustable the light is as you can move the panel vertically, you can rotate it, and change the angle. You also have the flexibility to use the light anywhere in the house to give house plants extra light, or as I plan to use it on a cart to propagate vegetable seedlings and plant cuttings. I’m planning to sow vegetable seeds indoors in the coming days and will follow up with a future video to evaluate the performance of this product on the growth of the seedlings.

If you choose, you can install the app and have control of the light from anywhere but it’s not necessary as the unit has a button controller. Setting up the smart controller is a bit more challenging because you need to download the app, sign up, and connect the unit to your wifi network.

Overall, the LetPot 48 watt LED Plant Grow Light is an excellent value. The unit is sold on Amazon for $64. This unit is perfect for someone who is looking for an affordable, small and simple, yet flexible LED grow light.
