Cooking 1,000 KG of "Shole Mashhadi"

Описание к видео Cooking 1,000 KG of "Shole Mashhadi"

Experience the spirit of devotion and community in Mashhad, Iran, as we document an awe-inspiring religious event honoring the Martyrdom of Hazrat Zahra. Every year, countless pilgrims walk vast distances to reach the holy shrine of Imam Reza, paying tribute to this revered figure.
This video showcases the extraordinary efforts of hundreds of volunteers who come together to prepare meals for over 100,000 pilgrims. In a massive kitchen and tent set up along the pilgrims' route, they cook two beloved Iranian dishes: Ghorme Sabzi, a fragrant herb stew, and Shole Mashhadi, the iconic dish of Mashhad.

The volunteers work tirelessly, cleaning and preparing ingredients, separating meat from bones, and partially cooking the food in industrial-sized pots before moving the operation to a roadside tent. In the freezing cold of the night, they cook 12 enormous pots of Shole Mashhadi, working from midnight until morning to ensure that every pilgrim is served a warm, hearty meal.

The video culminates in a heartwarming scene of pilgrims enjoying the lovingly prepared Shole Mashhadi before continuing their spiritual journey to the shrine of Imam Reza. This is a moving story of faith, tradition, and the power of community.
