The dosing for canned pumpkin is:
1-4 tablet spoons for a large breed dog & 1-2 Teaspoons for a small breed dog. You can safely feed your dog's canned pumpkin every day!

Canned Pumpkin is mostly water, so too much pumkin (feeding them it twice a day) can also have the opposite affect and cause loose stool. So see how your pet responds and discuss it with your veterinarian.

👩‍⚕️ 🗣️Speaking of your Veterinarian. You also don’t want to self-treat your pets diarrhea for too long with canned pumpkin if its not getting better! Diarrhea can mean many things in dog's and if not treated within 2-4 days, your dog could be getting deathly ill from pancreatitis, or something worse.
