Ascent from Riva del Garda on the almost vertical slopes of Monte Rocchetta to the Santa Barbara Chapel, which is a good 500m higher, with a phenomenal view of Riva and the lake. The further ascent is then very adventurous (via ferrata), but worthwhile and spectacular.
