Information for this video is gathered from FAA Advisory Circular 00-45H Aviation Weather Services.

Aviation Weather Reports or METAR's are surface observations significant to aviation within the vicinity of an airport.
METAR's may be found at aviationweather.gov, on the Foreflight app, and on various other apps and websites.

SPECI's or Special Aviation Wx Reports may be released for rapidly changing conditions.

I recommend decoding a current local METAR as you follow along with this video to solidify the information.
