Notes from the arranger, Daniel Romberger:
En Taro Brassadar! Protoss 3 is a background theme in StarCraft for the Protoss race, which is categorized by intelligence and longevity. The original piece is over 5 minutes and consists of melodic motives as well as ambient sound effects. As such, it was a tricky piece to arrange, but adding a second horn (John Stacy) to our quintet opened up a lot of possibilities! I was heavily inspired by music from the late Romantic period - particularly Gustav Holst's the Planets and Paul Hindemith's Symphonic Metamorphasis. Hope you enjoy the journey! End of briefing.
