Don't know anything about the plot. Since it is a shmup, AUTOMATIC NO PLOT!

Co-op with no skills involved on Normal difficulty using Team Japan. I am...PLAYER 2! (bro dun like using female characters.) Bro is Player 1. We didn't get the space monkey. =( (we got it on one playthrough, but the movie desync'd because I Was a retard and changed Joypad controls...or something. =_=) I tanked on final boss because I love to spam bombs. For some unknown reason, the enemies LOVE to shoot and chase my bro.

Bro sees my score is higher than his
Bro: "I want the final kill!"
Me: "Whatever."

Fighting Stage 6 boss
Bro: "I didn't the points!"
Me: "Yes, you did. -_-"
Then it was back and forth comparing score before final kill and score after final kill by loading save states. -
