Welcome to the charming balcony garden of a plant-obsessed grower in Malaysia. Lim Eng Seng, is a thrifty and resourceful gardener, acquiring nearly all his plants from cuttings and successfully growing them healthy and BIG.

Having just picked up the hobby 2 years ago, Lim mastered plant care thanks to his obsession with research and participation in the community. I am most impressed by his DIY sprinkler system, customized for individual plants needs.

His tiny west facing balcony is home to hundreds of plants across many generas - from common, to the rare. We tour his plant collection, spilling precious plant care secrets throughout.
