Yessirrrree, here it is. The sequel to Postbluane and Twenty Four, another "speedbuild" megacollab that I "hosted". I'll tell you why it's in quotations later.

Yes, that intro you saw at the beginning of the video? that was the actual conversation that led to the mc starting. Not only cuz of him of course, a lot of people in that conversation seemed so enthusiastic about it that I couldn't resist at all. I love seeing people happy, as much as I wanna fuckin quit this game at this point.

You know, the theme wasn't even supposed to be this. The funny thing about Postbluane is that it was a complete misinterpretation of Chun's idea for a theme (A very specific style of fairytale theme). I wanted to actually make up for it here in Astralith and actually make his idea come true, but almost everyone disagreed cuz of how hard it is for a speedbuild, and we were looking at so many different options at that point, that we just ended up doing a poll and this won cuz apparently everyone also thought we didn't do fantasy well enough in Postbluane.

This song (specifically Peter's part) was the very first thing that came to mind when mfs suggested High Fantasy. Initially, that part was actually mine (this was before I invited Lacryma), but then Peter did his concept art and I was like "yeah no this is yours." lmfaooo

Now let's address what I was gonna say earlier

Why "speedbuild" in quotes?
Remember how Postbluane was supposed to be done in 2 days but ended up being a 1 week thing?
Well for Astralith, we actually aimed for 1 week, then we extended to 2 weeks, then this project ended up taking 29 days to finish in total. The purely building session took 11 days and we spent the rest of the 18 days merging, but there's quite a lot of overlap considering that almost half of the members didn't get to finish by merging time, so most of the merging process was also in tandem with the building itself. It's still kinda crazy tho cuz what megacollab do you know got finished in a month with this level of quality? I'll wait.

Why "hosted" in quotes?
Chun and I were the ones who initially hosted this. Then, I decided Lia should upload cuz firstly she likes the song so much and also cuz I always give my megacollabs away for someone else to upload. I knew from the start I wasn't gonna do much building-wise cuz I'm not confident in my art-making abilities that i'd be able to speedbuild a part and do my song part justice (that's why I invited Lacryma and he ended up doing most of the shit, I just did the main composition). Few days into the project, Chun and I found ourselves constantly consulting Lia for everything so I just decided to make her the main host since she's been acting like more of a host than myself anyway, and she's also one of the people who put in the most work. Big respect to Lia. The fact I was even credited in this at all was an act of great generosity.

I think everyone absolutely outdid themselves here. I really did NOT expect this level to turn out this well. Yes, there are still a lot of flaws, some of them fundamental in nature cuz of the corner-cutting nature of the mc, but overall, I'm so proud of us for this.
