It is a live action cartoon that pushed the franchise so far into camp that it killed this era of Batman… but also created one of the most infamous comic book movies ever made.

Superman decides to rid the world of nuclear weapons, but Lex Luthor uses one of the nukes (and a strand of Superman’s hair) to create Nuclear Man, a glowing, clawed villain who feeds off the sun. What should have been an epic statement about world peace turns into an infamously cheap looking sequel with reused flying shots, clunky effects, and wild plot leaps. But if you like cinematic disasters, this is a buffet.
