Hunting Butchering & Eating * WILD TURKEY *

The thought of hunting wild turkey in south Florida on an ORANGE GROVE is one of the more magical hunts I can think of. I'm also a fruit kind of gal, so there is something extra satisfying in hunting in a place that I can also pick and eat an orange off of a tree. We were lucky enough to hunt with our friend and insanely talented turkey and fishing guide, Ryan Nitz. Then I butchered the turkey in the back of my van, and made some Nashville Hot turkey sandwiches (per Nick's request!). I made some mistakes but they still turned out great :) ENJOY!
