Livestream to Facebook from a DJI Drone - SOLVED!

S-O-L-V-E-D: Live-streaming directly on Facebook from many DJI Drone Remote Controllers has not been possible due to the secure protocol that Facebook uses... In this tutorial, we solve the problem and show you how to do it!

This video covers the RC Pro*, the original *Smart Controller and the RC-N1 controller. We have also heard from a viewer that this method works on the RC2 controller with the Mini 4 Pro. Note: The controller called “DJI RC” does not support Live-Streaming. If that changes, we'll update this description.

The method we've developed utilizes an Intermediary to convert the stream so that it is usable by Facebook. We researched over a dozen services and found a Free service that does exactly what we need. Other benefits to this method include Multicasting (simulcasting) to multiple social media channels from a single stream.

o Personal Accounts must be 60 days (or more) old.
o Professional Profiles need 100+ followers

A point of clarification. In this video we indicate that the original Smart Controller can Livestream directly to Facebook without the need to go through an intermediary. This is still true. However, only the DJI GO 4 app supports that capability. Therefore, this is only possible with drones which are compatible with the DJI GO 4 app, i.e. the Mavic 2 Pro.
