Today Cooking Show would like to show you how to make Pumpkin Custard. Sankya Lapov is the name of a dessert found in Cambodia. This dessert has ingredients such as pumpkin, coconut paste, eggs, flour and sugar. The word sangkhya probably derives from the Sanskrit (सांख्य) language, one of the six schools of philosophy of ancient Indian society. This dessert is also found in Thailand under the name Sangkhaya Fakthong. The similarity of the name of this dessert in Khmer and Thai (Sangkhya) probably comes from the same source of Indian influence during the Khmer Empire.
