Evermore le Masquerade (D&D 5e): Session 27 {Castille de Borjido (Part 1)}

King Emiliano XIII has ascended to the Gerdessi throne at the young age of sixteen, following the mysterious death of his father. Under the guidance of his advisors, chiefly that of Padre Primero Borjido, the adolescent monarch works to maintain the kingdom that his ancestors sculpted Gerdes into - a land of wealth and privilege.

Though Gerdes thrives peacefully upon the world stage, the success of many is built upon what happens behind the curtains.

In order to navigate the waters of Gerdessi society, one must strike a careful balance between debauchery and propriety. Assassination, thievery, slander, illicit business, and trysts are often committed at night by the same hands that conduct state affairs during the day.

This is simply how life is in Gerdes. To be Gerdessi is to always wear a mask.

Our heroes now venture into the Stiletto Pass of the mountains, with the ominous Castille de Borjido looming overhead. As the ancient home of an elder vampire, what dark secrets will it hold?

And will the party arrive in time to be able to save the missing Mothers of Amigazada?
