中大醫學院【新生白袍典禮 2022】CUHK White Coat Inauguration Ceremony for Medical Freshmen 2022

約300名醫科新生在2022年9月24日舉行的醫學院新生白袍典禮上，於親友、中學校長及老師的見證下逐一穿上白袍，象徵他們正式開展學醫之旅，承諾恪守行醫的最高專業操守，肩負起照顧病人的重任。主禮嘉賓香港大學校務委員會主席王沛詩女士在致辭中，勉勵同學勿忘穿上白袍所作的承諾，要恪守行醫者最高專業操守，無私奉獻，竭誠服務病人，回饋社會。

Around 300 medical freshmen participated in the White Coat Inauguration Ceremony for Medical Freshmen on 24 September 2022. Witnessed by their families, friends and secondary school principals and teachers, our medical freshmen were donned with white coats and pledged to uphold the highest standards of professional conduct to care for the patients. Ms. Priscilla WONG, SBS, BBS, JP, the Council Chairman of the University of Hong Kong, joined as the Guest of Honour at this solemn occasion. She reminded students of the symbolic meaning of the white coat, “The white coat is light but the duty is heavy. It is a constant reminder to all of the professionalism, the selflessness, the highest standards and good ethics which doctors must uphold, always, without fail”.
