Building My Laser Cutter CNC Metal Milling Machine - Snapmaker Artisan 3 in 1 3D Printer

This is Part 1 of an exciting new series I'm kicking off today. I’ve got my hands on the Snapmaker Artisan: [https://snapmaker.sjv.io/anyVgW] and, let me tell you, this thing is a game-changer for my Radio Control hobby, and my shop overall. Normally, I’d have to send off parts to manufacturers overseas, waiting for weeks. But with this versatile 3-in-1 machine—featuring a 40W Laser Cutter & Engraver, a 200W CNC Milling Machine, and a Dual Extrusion 3D Printer—I can do it all in-house and on-demand.

Recently, Snapmaker reached out and asked if I wanted to try their upgraded flagship model, the Artisan 3-in-1. With its all-metal design and industrial-grade precision, it’s taken desktop fabrication to a whole new level. And their slogan? 'Never Put Ideas on Hold Because of Limited Space.' That really hits home for me.

Let me just say, this setup wasn’t a quick job—it was time-consuming, but SO straightforward. In this video, I’m walking you through a true ‘newbie’ experience of unboxing and building this beast. I’m pumped to finally get it up on my workbench, along with the enclosure, 3D printer, and the rotary machine.

I can’t wait to dive into Part 2, where we’ll set up the air purifier, rotary machine, laser cutter, and CNC mill. But for now, let’s focus on getting this machine ready for action. What do you think—does this make an epic addition to my shop?

Thank you Snapmaker!
