How to Solder Brass to Brass, Steel, Bronze, Copper, Cast Iron and More with SSF-6 Silver Solder

Описание к видео How to Solder Brass to Brass, Steel, Bronze, Copper, Cast Iron and More with SSF-6 Silver Solder

http://MuggyWeld.com SSF-6 can be used to join copper, brass, stainless steel, cupre nickel, cast iron, steel, bronze, or copper, in any combination.

The cadmium-free, food-grade material flows at 1150 degrees and requires no grinding or machining. Clean the surface before brazing. Rub the flux-coated silver rod onto the surface when the metal starts to turn color. The high silver alloy flows when the parent metal turns to a dull red color. Broadly heating the work area on all sides is advised for increased flow and a superior bond. Avoid bringing the brass to a cherry red color. The SSF-6 can bridge gaps and small holes. When in doubt, add more flux for a better flow.
