Hey everyone 🌸, today I made my speciality: wheat chocolate chip muffins yes, imperfect, yes random, yes just because I feel like baking and ranting 🎂✨
I never planned to be a chef. Baking happened by accident. But these muffins? They are soft, slightly sweet, with that chocolate chip crunch I always crave. With wheat flour so they’re a bit healthier, yet still so comforting.
If you’ve ever tried muffins that turned out dry or bland, this one’s for you. I share what I learned, my mistakes + tips so your muffins come out perfect at home.
Ingredients
• Whole wheat flour / atta
• Refined flour / maida
• Curd
• Oil
• Sugar
• Baking soda
• Baking powder
• Salt
• Chocolate callets / choco chips
• Vinegar
• Milk
• Vanilla essence (since you mention it in process)
Process
1. Preheat oven.
2. Mix milk + vinegar, rest 5 mins.
3. Whisk sugar, vanilla & oil.
4. Add curd + buttermilk, mix well.
5. Sift in dry ingredients in parts.
6. Cut & fold into a smooth batter.
7. Dust choco chips with flour & fold in.
8. Fill lined muffin tray & bake 18 mins.
9. Cool completely & enjoy with tea! ☕✨
