In a time when the world was filled with violence and wickedness, God chose Noah — a righteous and faithful man — to carry out a divine plan. God instructed Noah to build a massive ark because He would send a great flood to cleanse the earth. Obeying God’s command, Noah worked tirelessly to construct the ark, bringing aboard his family and two of every kind of animal, male and female. When the floodwaters came, they covered the earth for 40 days and nights, but Noah, his family, and all the animals remained safe inside the ark. After the waters receded, the ark came to rest on Mount Ararat. God made a covenant with Noah, placing a rainbow in the sky as a sign of His promise never to flood the whole earth again. This story is one of obedience, faith, and divine mercy.
