TIZWIT -International Bee Dance Group

Tizwit is “Ahidus” traditional folk dance group originating from the Imgoun tribes in Kalaat Mgouna, Tinghir Province, Morocco. It was founded in the 1960s and became famous for its unique traditional “Ahidus” dance styles and performances.
The band is famous both at national and international levels and has participated in several international forums in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Spain, but also in Asia, in South Korea and China. In America, it took part in Canadian festivals and won the first prize in one of the festivals in 2019. The band also participated in other Festivals in countries as representative of Morocco, in Djibouti, 2023, in Turkey, France and Azerbaijan in 2024 during the group´s tour in Europe in May 2024.
