MH Rise | Solo Magnamalo (Sword and Shield | SnS) - 5'26''45

Oh lord, Magnamalo High Rank is hard to run.

He's tanky, he loves to change area and has a very large movepool that confuses me a lot. On top of causing issues every now and then due to his size. That's what she said.

If you didn't know, he also loves to scream at bullfangos, now I wouldn't want to show that to you but perhaps one day you'll see it for yourself!

Without the area transition or my rather sloppy run, this could've been easily a sub 5 but then again I haven't gotten a single attempt where he didn't change area. In this run he actually swapped rather late.

He's fun but hard, all I can say!

Information about my set:
I swapped from last run's set with the Commander Dagger and now used the Nargacuga Sword and Shield.
I thought a mighty 32 true raw advantage might be better, but as of right now it isn't. Handicraft without god charms is simply too expensive and it doesn't help that the Commander Dagger drops sharpness much more quickly, too.
Others have been recommending the Rathian SnS to me, but keep in mind that it doesn't go up to white unless you have Handicraft 4, making it even worse to build for in that regard.
Also went with shield combo once again, though I can see Drill Slash being used in the future.
