10,000 years ago, the Sahara was green. Flowing through it was the massive Tamanrasset River — one of the largest in the world. At the center of this system lies the mysterious Richat Structure, 40 kilometers in diameter — concentric rings visible from space.

Coincidence? Plato described Atlantis in exactly the same way: a central island, three rings of land, three rings of water, mountains to the north, an opening to the ocean in the west. The size — 127 stadia, exactly 23 km. The inner rings of the Richat Structure measure 23 km.
