AVI.ARY Music | "1807" (Official Animated Music Video)

"1807" is an ambient, atmospheric track that I created to try and capture some of the memories I have of experiencing winters growing up back in Alaska, looking out the window and watching the snow fall down, seeing it accumulate in the yard, and having fun outside as a kid. I wanted to create something evoking the times I spent in the winter with my dad, and I wanted to release this track on my birthday, one of the times of year where I find myself reflecting on past years, and where I find myself wishing I still had my dad here to experience many more years together too.

I dedicate this track to myself for my birthday today on May 18th, and also dedicate it to my dad, Tommy Thompson Jr., who passed away almost ten years ago, and who I miss very much. Thanks for all the time and fun Alaskan winter memories together, Dad.
