Hello everyone and thank you for taking a few moment to check out this months mead. Cowboy Coffee Mead, made from 300 grams (not the full pound I thought it was) of fresh ground Sumatra coffee allowed to reach 180 F to really pull out some of the darker flavor of those great beans. I doubled up on the yeast to speed up the overall process and short changed the honey to starve the yeast at an alcohol level that I'm perfectly okay with. After all, if I wanted harder spirits I could always just work out a still ...
