9월 29일은 한국의 명절 추석입니다.
우리나라 추수감사절(음력 8월 15일)이면서 연휴 이기도 합니다.
추석에는 일가 친척이 옹기종기 모여서 햅쌀로 빚은 송편과 풍성한 과일, 고기등을 먹으며 추수를 감사하는 차례를 지내며 조상의 묘소를 찾아가 차례를 지냅니다.
추석은 "한가위"라고도 하는데요
"한"은 크다라는 뜻이고 "가위"는 가운데라는 뜻입니다.
한가운데 있는 큰날, 음력 8월 15일을 뜻합니다.
추석에는 전통복장인 한복을 입고 예를 갖추기도 합니다.
