I honestly don't like seeing all these thank yous for the people risking their lives and being refused protection. What is a thank you going to do? They shouldn't be in this position. We should be complaining to those refusing to supply safety equipment or those that are able to but are not doing so.

It makes me sick to see these situations. No one should be put in such one and even less so someone that signed up to do such a selfless job in the first place.

We should show them respect by supplying equipment. Not saying thank you and looking the other way.

My wife is a nurse who has been working with covid patients. Someone told her thank you for everything you do on her way to her car a couple days ago. You have now idea how happy this made my wife. I can say it a million times but having a stranger say it to her meant the world.

So do whatever you can to get them more PPE, but if you can't do that, then please just tell them thanks.

You can say thank you and support them at the same time, relax.
