A massive diplomatic row has erupted after Canadian PM Justin Trudeau, addressing the country’s parliament, spoke of “credible allegations” about a “potential link” between Indian government agents and the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, chief of the Khalistan Tiger Force, this June in British Columbia. The Indian government has dismissed the allegations as “absurd”, and both countries have expelled one diplomat each in the wake of the row.
