This is a clip out of a much longer video I did a couple years ago, but felt the message in it deserves its own video.
The Venardos Circus has always spread the message of following your dreams, and that you can achieve them no matter where you’re starting from. But what Kevin has done in following his own dream has allowed many others to achieve theirs as well. He’s created an environment where performers can shine, earn a stable income, and have a balanced life at the same time. All while allowing aspiring performers to put in the work to learn the circus life from experienced veterans, until they rise into a center stage act of their own.
And now two years since filming this, the Venardos Circus has doubled in size with two tours traveling the country and performing in different city’s, spreading the message twice as far, and allowing twice as many performers to live their dream.
There are so many lessons from Kevin in this (probably more than he realizes) that it’s worth watching over again for anyone who has a dream that they are passionate about, thinks there’s no way to achieve their goals, wants to run a successful business, or has a business and wants to create an environment where employees WANT to be. This is a perfect example of doing everything right, even if it doesn’t feel like it at the time, and how never giving up on a dream of your own can help so many others achieve there’s along the way.
