There's a legend of a goldmine hidden in this mountain discovered by Jacob Waltz and nobody else. Until today some people still believe that goldmine exist and tried to locate it. Unfortunately, they never made it out.

Mommy & Daddy,
I learned how to cook using butane gas stove and lightly lit by led lamp. It wasn't easy, I couldn't tell the meat was cooked or still raw. I enjoyed the night, watching stars and starring the Superstition Mountains. Wondering which trail to take. Toilet was not near. Afraid to pee behind the bushes, afraid there might be snakes or scorpions. Went to bed with whatever I had on my body, including the microbes. Unfortunately, at 12:30am, I needed to pee. Couldn't decide to pee in the bushes next to the car, but coyotes were howling. To pee or not to pee, i chose to pee, but I drove to the campground's toilet. Then fear crept in, did I want to continue car camping under the moonlight or go home? I sat in the car for 10min before deciding to continue car camping. When would I have an opportunity to tag along for car camping? Face it and go through the night before deciding whether car camping is the next thing in my list.
I made through the night, I did it!! Graduated!! And I enjoyed it, as long as I'm sleeping in the moonlight... :)
