How Does Ultherapy® Work?

Collagen is a buzz word for anti-ageing as it is well known to be the building block of healthy skin and that we lose collagen as we get older. From our 20’s we start to lose collagen at a rate of about 1% every year so, with age, skin loses its elasticity and the signs of ageing become more visible. Beneath the skin’s surface, structural proteins such as collagen decrease over time. This leads to a decrease in skin’s elasticity and contributes to sagging and the formation of wrinkles.
