The era of skyscrapers in India began with the completion of the LIC Building in Chennai in 1959. With 15 floors, it was the first skyscraper in the country and remained the tallest building in the country until 1961 when it was surpassed by the 25-storied Usha Kiran Building in Mumbai. The proposed height of Jeddah tower is 1 Kilometer or 1000 metre. After completion in 2021 Jeddah Tower will be tallest building in the world. At present Burj khalifa in Dubai is the tallest building in the world. Lodha world one tower, Mumbai is Tallest Under construction building in India. The-42, Kolkata is the tallest completed building in India.
