found out (so I am told, no idea if even a single person was actually charged back) that that streamer was already wealthy. No other streamer has been charged back. But everyone is ready to sheep it up and jump in and be happy that 'justice got served'.

It's actually sad that some folk find it so hard to believe that there are actually genuinely nice people out there and that they do exist and they do want to make a difference to another person's life. Some individuals just like to be generous - it doesn't mean that they're only doing it so they can be a dick after.

A similar thing happened not so long ago when a little old guy was accused of being a pedophile but there was no source checking or anything - just posted and boom, everyone was instantly ready to believe the worst and jumped out with their pitchforks.

Don't trust the media. =)I'm glad to see that this lesson is being dealt out, albeit painfully and with such a large amount of money.

I'm sorry to see this because what a waste of time and money for everyone involved who were acting responsibly, e.g. - his parents in earning the money, PayPal, the streamers, etc. It's too bad his parents gave him access to such sums of money.

Edit: Just want everyone to know that this story began in January 2016. This article is probably a result of the resolution of the PayPal disputes.
