What Happened to the German WWI Tank?

When you think of a World War I tank, it is usually one of the British 'landships' that come to mind, and not the nation that would use tanks to great effect during the opening stages of the Second World War. So what happened to the German WWI tank, and why don't we see more of it? This week, we look at the A7V, or Sturmpanzerwagen.
