Описание к видео Lessons from the Study of Wild Chimpanzees | John Mitani

Leakey Foundation grantee John Mitani’s 26-year study of an unusually large community of chimpanzees at Ngogo in Kibale National Park, Uganda, continues to challenge our notions of what makes us human. In this talk, Mitani reviews findings that reveal some interesting parallels between humans and chimpanzees with respect to friendships, longevity, and cooperation.

"Lessons for the Study of Wild Chimpanzees" was presented at the Houston Museum of Natural Science on 4/17/2018 as part of The Leakey Foundation's Speaker Series program in partnership with the Houston Museum of Natural Science.
