What is Synchronous Reluctance motor [Detail Construction]

Описание к видео What is Synchronous Reluctance motor [Detail Construction]

A synchronous reluctance machine is a machine that is made up of two major parts,
which are the stator and rotor. the stator consists of a core that is made up
of windings and the winding material is made of copper material. this set of coils is usually
supplied with a 3 or single-phase main. the power ratings depend on the rating of the motor.

the rotor on the other hand is usually made of Ferro material, so the rotor
of synchronous reluctance motor has no windings and is not made from magnetic material.

this rotor comes in two forms which are, axial and radial rotors. according to the experiment
performed by Valéria Hrabovcová. rotor with axial laminations tends to produce higher torque
when compared with a rotor with radial laminations. this is due to the narrow laminations that
this rotor is made of. because the flux generated will be evenly distributed on the rotor.
