Описание к видео Victor Wooten | Curate: Season 8, Episode 1

Widely recognized as the “Michael Jordan” of the bass guitar, Victor Wooten has navigated a long road to get to the pinnacle of his journey. Growing up the youngest of five brothers, Wooten first honed his musicianship touring the country and scouring a major label record deal with his family’s band. After dismantling he began performing at Busch Gardens in the Good Time Country Show, which ultimately led to his inclusion into the Bela Fleck and the Flectones where he received worldwide acclaim for his playing and showmanship.

Currently, in a battle against focal dystonia, a rare neurological condition that is threatening his ability to grace the stage, Victor Wooten is not slowing down a bit. La Leccion Tres is a concerto he wrote and has been performing in various cities including in his hometown of Newport News, Virginia.
