What an adventure on my first day back in India!
Started off walking from my hotel over to the Chandni Chowk area which took about 20-30 minutes and was a good warm up and got my stomach ready to eat!
Lotan Chole Kulche Wala- This is where I had to get it started. Close to where I was walking and down some nice and quiet back alleys. A heavy loaded breakfast, with masala, ghee, chickpeas, potatoes, and Kulcha covered and smothered in butter as well. The best part was being able to share it will a local and get to pay for his meal.

I decided to keep on trekking down the back alleys. I talked to some friendly owners preparing for the day ahead by kneading samosa dough. But it was a little further ahead to when I finally found what I was looking for, some chai! The first one I have had since back in India and Oh, did it hit the spot.
After finally making my way to the early morning and sleepy Chandni Chowk main road, I realized I was too early so I took off for Jama Masjid. But along the way I was able to stumble across a Juice Walla!!!
Juice Walla - Black salt, sweet lemons I think, and a few more ingredients. This drink hit the spot as it was heating up quick in Delhi, I guess you could say it was even a little orgasmic.

After walking around Jama Masjid and realizing the famous $1 fried chicken person was closed today, I decided to head back over to Chandni Chowk, up through the alleys again.
Cookie Walla - On my way back through the alley I was able to find this man making cookies!
Nankhatai, is a shortbread cookie that can sometimes have cardamom as well. I went and tried to share mine with some locals, but nobody wanted any!!
The cookies came just down the street from the location below.
Jung Bahadur Kachori Wala - I didn't have plans to eat Kachori today, but when you pass by one of the best in India, you cannot help yourself but try a Kachori. A very dense one as I had trouble eating it!! Still delicious, even the Jaipur man agreed.

After having to ditch some Touts I headed out on a search for some sandals. However, after no luck and realizing I was in the wrong area, I stumbled across a place for some sunglasses. Thank you to Muhammed for the hospitality and the sunglasses!

Back up to the main road, I realized I, myself, have never feed the birds. I do believe this is an old tradition passed down by farmers as they would always feed the birds so they would return and eat pest from the gardens. However, I could be wrong. No matter, it was a lot more fun with this happy go lucky Sikh man showed me how to correctly feed the birds.
As the day wore on, so did my body. I was tired of carrying a big ole bag so I went to search for something small. Rs 250 not bad, and they say it was a fixed price, which is fine for me because I don't care to bargain anyways.
Old Famous Jalebi Wala- Now, I needed something sweet and when that sweet craving hits, India is one of the greatest countries to be in. I opted for a nostalgic jalebi for me. The first one I ever ate and still one of my favorites. After making some friends, I shared a little of my Jalebi and gave my praise to the owner.

Finally on my way back to my hotel, I ran passed a man selling cologne for men. After sampling many, I knew "white oudh" and "Black Musk" would keep me smelling good and strong during all my travels through India.
