Blessedness does not come from the amount of money or material things that one has. The Lord Jesus Christ himself said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35). When we live our lives focused on giving, we will find joy and contentment. It is not always easy to be selfless and to put others before ourselves, but when we do, we are blessed.
