Sick of the 30 Min Live View Time Limit on your Nikon D3xxx or D5xxx Camera?

Get past Nikon's entry level D3xxx and D5xxx series DSLR's 30 minute live view timer with this easy hack! In this video I will show you how to make an inexpensive dongle that will let you bypass your camera's 30 minute live view limitation. Use your camera for zoom calls, live streaming, etc.

I have only tested this on the D3300...

I have personally used this with my D3300 streaming via OBS. I have yet to run into any issues. The camera only got lukewarm after an HOUR of steaming! In fact it actually gets warmer recording internally to the SD card. (camera temps and potential overheating will depend on ambient temperature of course)
