Lone Ranger - The Frog People - Lost Complete Episode - Fully Restored Cartoon for Kids

The Lone Ranger classic cartoon for kids, The Frog People is another plot that deals with something that seems supernatural but has a logical explanation. Impossible Frog People are attacking the towns people and robbing everything in sight, its The Lone Ranger and Tonto to the rescue! In this episode there is vast underwater adventure, sharks, scuba diving and all kinds of fun you would never expect in the Wild Wild West!

The original animated Lone Ranger cartoon series came out in 1966 and has not been seen in 60 years, it has never been released on DVD. The Lone Ranger series from 1966 was very experimental and actually inspired the live action show on the same network CBS, The Wild Wild West. Most everyone involved with this show are dead or lost in the fray, it is believed that this animated series was used to try out plot points for the very expensive Wild Wild West show.

The animation for The Lone Ranger in this incarnation was really quite good, it was done by the English animation company Halas and Batchelor Cartoon Film Studios. It was made for the American market and specifically 26 episodes were made and aired on CBS Saturday Morning TV in 1966 and ran over and over until September 6, 1969 when they vanished from TV forever!

There is a more well known version of animated Lone Ranger series that is really bad that came out in 1980 and was from the Filmation Animation Studio, that series was in syndication and is probably still running. These restored cartoons are not the 1980 garbage they are the artistic masterpieces produced in 1966 and lost to history, except in blurry scratchy old copies of VHS versions from the 70s. It is always nice that any copy if a lost cartoon is available, but now see it clear, good color and expanded clear sound in Ultra Stereo'
