Dear Holly Cooper tells the story of a young musician (Holly) who moves to Paris to become a musicalactress and -singer. In her musicalschool she falls in love with Paul, a talented drummer and also gets in touch with Charly, a lovely boy who is living next to her apartment. In Charly she finds a true friend. Holly is suffering from anxiety and often struggels with her past. Her biggest fear is to be meaningless. One night when she feels homesick and lonely she meets a group of young people that are orphans and homeless. She decides to bring joy in their lifes by doing music together and changes her path. As Holly suddenly disappears all the people that knew her write letters to her. And finally Holly Cooper wasn't forgotten anymore.
