Eldrazi Tron is Back in the Top Meta! | MODERN | MTG

Modern Horizons Three has created a whole new archetype in this "new" version of Mono Green Eldrazi Tron in Modern! While there have been some versions of Green Eldrazi in the past, this one looks to take advantage of ramp, disruption and land destruction with Sowing Mycospawn, World Breaker and Thought-Knot Seer. We're also a Karn, the Great Creator deck so our sideboard is mostly a dedicated wish board other than the 3 Kozilek's Return in order to mostly combat the most popular deck in the format, Boros Energy. This deck is looking to cast its four drops on turn two by ramping with lands and talismans. This is all made possible by the new MH3 Ugin's Labyrinth. This "sol land" allows us to tap for 2 mana on turn 1 in order to turbo out our ramp pieces! Sire of the Seven Deaths from the new MTG Foundations Set is also a new toy we get to try. It is an absurd card with a million keywords that can dominate the board if it resolves. It feels good to be back on Tron again!
