Welcome! To the sequel that almost didn't happen! In this series, I'm going to look back and play a selection of games that were released 30 years ago. The purpose of this show is to give context into how gaming has evolved over the past three decades, to look into what was being produced, and to try and determine whether these are still games worth playing.


For this, our second season, we are looking back towards 1992, a year that brought us such classics as Disney's "Aladdin" (which you don't have a soul if you don't like) and "Batman Returns". Red Hot Chili Peppers topped the Billboard charts with "Under The Bridge" and we were also treated to the release of Rage Against The Machine's self-titled debut, coinciding with the LA Riots. It was also the year the USA elected Bill Clinton. 1992 also marked the beginning of the Bosnian War, and the official establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Israel, meanwhile, Crimea declared their separation from Ukraine. The year was also designated as the "International Space Year" by the UN, so that's cool.
