On June 22 2024 NYC Council organized a last minute rally days before the city budget was finalized but guess what, the NYC Parks Department once again saw cuts. Many NYC Council Members appear at this rally as well as member of volunteer led friends groups and parks advocates such as New Yorkers for Parks. Everything said is just as relevant today as it was in June 22nd 2024 at Morningside Park in Manhattan on what turned out being one of the hottest days of the year #savenycparks
