We trusted a big brand like MakeMyTrip because we thought booking through an established travel company would guarantee comfort, support, and peace of mind. But what we actually experienced was the exact opposite, and I’m sharing this not out of anger alone, but to make sure no other Malayali family goes through what we went through.
🛑 The First Shock: MMT Even Got the Passenger GENDER Wrong
Imagine paying lakhs for your dream vacation, only to discover that your travel agency entered the WRONG GENDER for one of the passengers on your Dubai flight ticket.
Yes. You read that right.
Despite giving all our details clearly, MakeMyTrip made a basic, irresponsible mistake while booking our tickets.
Airline rules are strict. Gender mismatch can lead to:

And yet, after making this HUGE mistake, MakeMyTrip acted like it wasn’t serious and showed zero accountability.
🏨 The Second Blow: The Hotel Room Disaster
Before booking, MMT promised us a Superior King Bedroom — spacious, comfortable, ideal for a family with kids.
We paid premium for that.
But when we reached the hotel in Dubai?
We were given a tiny room that could barely fit us, with NO resemblance to what MakeMyTrip promised.
And when we tried calling them for help…
📵 They Completely Stopped Taking Our Calls
From the moment the issues started, MakeMyTrip refused to answer our calls.
We tried contacting them through:

WhatsApp
Email
In-app support
No response. No support. No help.
We were stuck in a foreign country, with our family, feeling completely abandoned by the company we trusted with our hard-earned money.
