Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show discussing the longest living cultures. Outlining why these people live longer than Americans who have access the the best medical care on the planet. Stating these people are from third world countries without access to health insurance and medical doctors. Living simply using wood to cook and heat their homes. Putting the ash from the wood into their gardens giving them minerals in their diets.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article a British teen whose doctors misdiagnosed her stomach cancer. The doctor told her that she had dietary anemia and gave her iron pills. Explaining she was a typical teen girl just trying to be skinny. It wasn't until the cancer metastasized to her eye and ovaries that she got a cancer diagnosis. Only to lose her life a couple of months after the diagnosis.
