Further along, we encounter the site of the **Diamer-Bhasha Dam**, another monumental project aimed at improving water storage and electricity generation.

We make a stop at Besham City, a small yet bustling town known as the gateway to Northern Pakistan, before continuing towards **Nanga Parbat**, the ninth-highest mountain in the world. This part of the journey brings you close to the stunning peaks of the Himalayas.

A refreshing stop at Tatta Pani allows us to enjoy the natural hot springs before we reach the Three Mountain Junction, where the Himalayas, Karakoram, and Hindu Kush ranges meet—a rare geographical marvel.

Finally, after an exhilarating journey, we arrive in Skardu, the heart of Baltistan. Skardu is a treasure trove of natural wonders, with must-visit destinations including:

- Shangrila Resort (Lower Kachura Lake): Also known as Heaven on Earth, this serene lake surrounded by beautiful resorts is a perfect spot to unwind.
- Upper Kachura Lake: A stunning high-altitude lake known for its crystal-clear water and peaceful surroundings.
