An incredible trip emerged us into the blue waters of Seven Brothers and Moucha Wreck!
So much to see there!

If you ever find yourself end up in Djibouti. Yes it is a country most travellers never heard of in East Africa. And you are there between November to February or Maybe April-May. Make sure you research about a trip to Seven Brothers. It is probably on of the most un know, unspoiled incredible divests in the Indian Ocean/Red Sea. In two years we have probably been 5 or six times and we still talk about it! It is rough, remote, hard to get to and very expensive but it is worth it. Especially if you goi in March-April with normally better visibility and calm water it is a trip to remember. You can find pelagic like reef sharks, whale sharks, mantas and big groups of baracuda and dolphins. Every dive site is very different and some of the shallow reefs are great also for snorkelling!

Moucha Wreck is a dive site that can be done as a morning trip from Djibouti. It is about 40 minutes by skiff. The cargo ship was transporting bananas and sank in 1965 due to an explosion in the engine room. It has been laying at a convenient dept of 30M (90ft) and is covered with coral and marine life. There is a swim through in the centre but we do not recommend to penetrate the ship since the steel is detonating and we have seen part collapse in recent years. But diving around the wreck is a great experience !

Si jamais vous vous retrouvez à Djibouti. Oui, c'est un pays dont la plupart des voyageurs n'ont jamais entendu parler en Afrique de l'Est. Et vous y êtes entre novembre et février ou peut-être avril-mai. Assurez-vous de rechercher un voyage à Seven Brothers. C'est probablement l'un des désinvestissements incroyables les plus inconnus et les plus préservés de l'océan Indien / mer Rouge. En deux ans, nous l'avons probablement été 5 ou 6 fois et nous en parlons encore! C'est difficile, isolé, difficile d'accès et très cher, mais cela en vaut la peine. Surtout si vous partez en mars-avril avec une visibilité normalement meilleure et une eau calme, c'est un voyage inoubliable. Vous pouvez trouver des pélagiques comme des requins de récif, des requins baleines, des mantas et de grands groupes de baracudas et de dauphins. Chaque site de plongée est très différent et certains récifs peu profonds sont également parfaits pour la plongée avec tuba!
